Biography

Art Education/Fine Arts student

Kathleen Wolford is currently studying fine arts at Sage College of Albany and has been honored by the college’s Dean's List for her hard work and dedication to her studies. She also works part time at a nearby children's school as a mentor to young artists in the classroom as an art teacher's assistant. Kathleen’s personal work reflects nature in many ways, but she is particularly drawn to the natural balance of yin and yang in nature and sexuality. She has been honored with several awards and recognitions for her art work including being featured in the 2011 “Art in Three Dimensions” juried art show by Capital Area Art Supervisors. Her piece, previously named Grace was featured on the cover of the pamphlet of this event, having been selected especially from dozens of other student pieces. In her free time, she enjoys photography, reading, and nature.
